Does Apo-alfuzosin Help Cure Frequent Urination?
Question: I was taking apo-alfuzosin and apo- dutasteride for a swollen prostate. It has been a month since removed most of my prostate. Am I suppose to continue with these meds?
Brief Answer:
How is your urination pattern?
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
These medications are used to avoid frequent urination in small volumes. If you still have these symptoms, then it is appropriate to use them still. If you no longer have them, then there us no reason to continue using them. They were not being used in any way as a post surgical drug.
In all, totally depends on your urinary symptoms. If frequent and in small volumes, continue. If not, you can safely discontinue.
I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
