Does Atorvastatin Interact With Trazodone And Claritin?
Question: I have cerebral arteriosclerosis, cerebral vascular disease and now diagnosed with fatty liver, cholelethiasis and more. I take donepezil, Aspirin, trazodone, low doze Naltrexone, claritine. I am 75 years old. I have low blood tension, normal cholesterol, i am skinny ( lost a lot of weight recently), not diabetic. Can I take Atorvastatin 10 mg, I prescribed recently if I had blood in my urine?
I have chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis, multinodular goiter, osteoporosis, which was diagnosed when i was 16 years old and now is bad, basal sell carcinoma surgery, common bile duct dilatation, mild dementia, major depression.
I have HMO insurance, I am low income and live alone.
MOre additional info about me. Sorry, I didn't realised that it's real professional consultation!!!
Second question:Some of my problems impaired my vision. I have pain and enormous pressure inside out in my eyes. i have double vision and have problems to drive. I saw ophthalmologist, she told my eyes are OK. What can cause this and what to do or where to go for consultation?

Brief Answer:
Urologist
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Atorvastatin has adverse interaction with Trazodone and Claritin increasing the blood levels. The blood in the urine needs to be looked into and the specialist to see is a urologist. In the meanwhile, you may stop the aspirin as it increases the bleeding through the antiplatelet action, preventing the platelets from sticking to one another and blocking the bleeding vessels.
