Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing through HCM.
I have read your query and understood your concerns.
I have gone through all the details about the drug, you have mentioned. This drugs can cause insomnia, anxiety and depression. Drug may be the cause but I need more information regarding his daily behavior, what does he do all the day? Does he get enough sleep? Does he behave strangely at night only? Does he himself report sadness? Does he wanders in home aimlessly? Does he forget things or ways or anything? How would you rate his forgetfulness on a scale of 0-10? [0 means minimal and 10 means disabling and severe]
Describe one or two incidences of suicidal gestures by him [means what were the circumstances in which he had made suicidal gestures or talks?].
For how long you have been noticing this kind of behavior of your father? Apart from Bicalutamide 50 mg, which other drugs he is receiving? Does he has Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiac problems, Paralysis, Seizures etc?
Give answers to above questions. I am waiting for your reply.
Wish you good luck.
