Brief Answer:
Constipation is a common side effect of Celexa

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this constipation that you have reported. I have reviewed this information and my immediate though is that this is a possible complication of this drug. I will side with you that you gradually reduce the dosage and let's see what will become of this constipation after doing so. I will initially like to see you transition through 20mg before going to 10mg so as to avoid possible withdrawal reactions. If the constipation does get better, then that's the most probable cause.

In addition, much fluids, fruits, vegetables and fibers alongside regular physical exercise is helpful in addressing constipations as well as healthy diet.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
