Yes, dramamine would help to relieve the vertigo.
Meds should be used for only a few days ( 3 to 5 )max because prolonged use can prevent or delay inner ear recovery,if related to inner ear.
Your GP should be able to diagnose the vertigo.
If suspects the BPPV, he or she should also be able to perform epley for you.
If suspects other causes such as the other inner ear causes or other causes then will initiate any other treatment
