Does Fertyl Tablets Help In Conceiving In Women With A Bicornuate Uterus?
Question: Dear Dr ,
I am married since 4 years but after two month of marriage my husband went abroad and returned after 3 years in between I have visited him for a month 2 times in a 3 years,
He was here since October-13 till july -14,but i didn't conceive,I have gone under ultrasound it shows that I have endometriosis cyst in my both ovaries and bicorneat uterus..my husband went back and I am visiting him for a month in January.
my Dr advice me fertyl tablet for 5 days from 2 nd day of my periods for next two cycle..
my husband has sperm motility 30% please suggest...can I conceive with fertyl tablet ?

2. Fertyl tablets help in conceiving in women with normal uterus. But in women with bicornuate uterus this is difficult.
3. I suggest you undergo hysterolaparoscopy which will help in removing endometriotic cyst and also evaluating extent of bicornuate uterus.
4. Your husband's sperm motility is low. It should be 50 %

Dr suggested me laparoscopy but also mention that reoccurrence chances are high,Dr told that bicornuat uterus is 25% and 75% with single cervix..
uterus size is 65x38x57mm endometrium is 5.3mm
rt ovary size 63x50mm with two thick wall cyst of 32x20x26mm and 48x31x38mm showing dense internal echoes..
left ovary size 57x31x40 with 3 thick wall cyst.

Laparoscopic removal endometriotic cyst has to be done as they are big and multiple. The bicornuate uterus has to be evaluated. Hence Laparoscopy is very much necessary.
It's difficult to conceive when you visit your husband next month as chance of pregnancy in each cycle is only about 20 percent.
Your husband needs to take antioxidant medicines like Macias daily to improve sperm motility. He needs to stop smoking and alcohol if he does have habit.

Dr I have consult a Gynecologist she suggested me to take fertyl tablet 5 days from second day of periods..this month and next month as well..
she suggested if incase u not conceive,plan is to go with laparoscopy later on some IUI and at last she suggested to go for test tube baby...
is her plan of treatment is good shell I follow her..
Also let me know is there any test to evaluate bicornuate uterus as so far no Dr looked into that method of diagnosis..
