Does HIV Cause Tingling Sensation All Over The Body ?

Question: Sir to tingling sensation all over the body especially legs and arms (which I thought is the side effect of Azithromycin tablet). Is it normal, and I should not relate this to HIV. Because as adviced by you I don't have to worry about HIV now. And hence sir I should ignore this tingling as well. Its on and off may be because of anxiety and stress or due to weather. So I should relax and more forward in my life and forget that episode.

Thanks for posting your query.
Tingling sensation of the body is not an early symptom of HIV infection.
I already assured you that the earliest symptoms of HIV will take more than 4-6 weeks to manifest.
So you need not worry about HIV infection. Are you a Diabetic individual?
You can ignore these symptoms. As you mentioned, it could be due to the anxiety. If these symptoms persists for more than 3 days, then you can consult your Physician nearby.

No sir I am not a diabetic patient. But sir even though the symptom whatever it may be comes after 3-4 weeks... Looking at my episode, I don't have to worry and don't have to undergo test... As adviced by you I shall move on and forget this and relax. As it is only causing mental instability.

You need not worry. I am seeing from your words, that you had disturbed mentally very much, Whatever may be my words, it will not convince or soothe you. Any type of discomfort will be likely to disturb you. So, for you it is better to go for test and after seeing the negative result, you can be relaxed. You can go for Antigen detecting molecular test for HIV and HIV 2 separately. Highly reliable and will be reliable by 3 weeks after the incident. Till then, stay away from your wife till you get result.

No sir, I am convinced by your earlier answer that I don't need test. I am trying very much to comfort myself. I can't be away from my wife for 3 weeks without any reason.
