Does HIV Will Be Transferable If The Oil Or Therapist Hand Contain Hiv Sperm ?
Question: Therapists had applied oil in my anus back , I dint do any intercourse or anything, is hiv will be transferable if the oil or therapist hand contain hiv sperm or blood before please tell
Brief Answer:
your HIV risk is negligible
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
The therapist would not be necessarily infected with HIV.
HIV is not viable outside the body fluids not more than few seconds.
It is quite ODD to think that the therapists hands are contaminated with semen or blood. During his duty hours contact with semen is quite unlikely. That too, after it got dried then there will no more viral particles.
Even if we consider these odds, if the therapist is a HIV positive individual and his hands are contaminated with blood or semen, then with an oil massage around anus has a very negligible risk for HIV transmission.

Hi Doctor , I have to take any medication for this ? Like prep something like that
Brief Answer:
You are safe.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) has to be taken within 72 hours after the encounter when transmission of HIV is highly suggestive.
In your case, I shall NOT suggest PEP.
