Does Humira Have An Affect On The HIV Window Period?

Question: Does the medication humira affect the hiv window period. I was tested at 3 and 5 months. Both negative, is future testing warranted. Currently taking one does of the humira pen every 2 weeks

The serological windows period (time taken for antibodies to form against hiv in infected individual and be detected by antibody detection test ) of HIV ranges from 8 to 12 weeks. As both your test drive at 3 and 5 months are negative following exposure and there has been no other exposure in this period, it certainly rules out HIV infection. No further testing is required.

Humira pen is Adalimumab which is monoclonal antibody and this does not in any way interfere with HIV testing especially the 3rd generation test. ( It would be helpful if you could provide me the exact test carried out)

I took an elisa antigen and antibody blood test.

Would me having psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis effect this at all. Im assuming the test was an elisa it said antibody and antigen combo with reflex. It was done at the university of XXXXXXX medical center a month ago
