Does Hydrocodone Interact With Seroquel?
Question: Recently I took 10 mg hydrocodone and 400 mills of Seroquel. I had a severe reaction, was taken to the hospital via 911, and at the hospital they XXXXXXX I was abusing Hydrocodone, gave me Narcan sp, and a long tirade about how I was probably a junkie. The Seroquel made it hard to talk.

First of all I do not think anybody can start with 400 mg of seroquel from the day One. The medication is used for variety of reasons and often we start with 25-50 mg per day and increase it to target dose slowly.
The use of Narcan SP indicates that you had sign of Opioid toxicity which are not possible with seroquel.
No healthcare facility will use narcan SP for reaction caused by seroquel.

The Seroquel has been prescribed for sleep. I am on the bi-polar spectrum. We stated out at 100 msg went to 200 and in this last year, 400. That, however is the red herring. I just wanted to know if the Seoquel exacerbated the 10 msg of Hydrocodone. Also, 10 msg is a high dose but tolerated well usually. What made these people in the hospital think I was steeped in opiates when I was not?

I never seen any patient presenting with such symptoms with use of seroquel and hydrocodone.
It is possible that unknowingly you took more than prescribed dose leading to toxic symptoms. It is possible as seroquel causes severe sedation.
