Does I-pill Cause Irregular Menstruation?

Question: Hi, I had ipill on the 3rd day of my periods. It's been more than a month since I had my periods. Today is the 38th day of my cycle. Could you suggest around what day should I get my next period? Is this a side effect? When should I start considering a pregnancy test? I have had sex in between after taking the pill.

I pill has the side effect of delaying the next expected periods by2-3 weeks.
However, Delayed periods can also be due to pregnancy.
I will therefore suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test tomorrow.
If negative, then you can safely wait for the periods for another2-3 weeks.

Fertile period of a 28 to 30 days cycle is between day8 to day 22.

Thanks doctor! Will my next ovulation depend on my current periods? I have still not had my periods. It's day 39 of my cycle today. Is it possible that my body may skip periods due to the I pill which I have had? Is it something to worry about?
