Does I-pill Cause Irregular Menstruation?
Question: Hi Sir,
My wife used to have regular periods starting around 30th of each month. This month her period got delayed and started on 6th Dec (Previous to this it started on 30th Oct). Post to this we had unprotected intercourse on 9th and 10th. Then she took an iPill (An emergency contraceptive same as Unwanted72) on evening of 11th. Yesterday, i.e. on 16th she got a little bleeding. We considered it to be a side effect of iPill and did not pay much attention to it. Also, we had another intercourse yesterday. From today morning, she is bleeding more, same as she does in her menses. FYI - She also have thyroid problems. What could be the reason behind this? We are worried. Is this a sign of pregnancy? Or is it a side effect of the pill? Or Thyroid? Please help.
