Does Ibuprofen Interact With Pradaxa And Aspirin?
Question: I am on pradaxa and aspirin. Also take ibuprofen occasionally. When injured blood still clots quickly. Should I beconcerned?
Brief Answer:
you should...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
pradaxa and aspirin are already a risky combination as they block both the platelets' and coagulation system's functions. Ibuprofen and aspirin increase the risk for gastrointestinal bleeding particularly when used together. Using the 3 drugs together greatly increases the risk and is strongly discouraged. If you'd like to use something for the pain (joint pain?) then a combination of paracetamol (acetaminophen) with a mild opioid might be a better option for you.
I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!

There are combinations of acetaminophen with opioids, so you can take a single pill containing both substances. In any case you can take opioids only with medical prescription...
