Does Keppra Intake Cause Weight Loss?
Question: I was recently (recently as in three weeks ago) prescribed Keppra and I was wondering if weight loss is part of the symptom list. I have not lost a HUGE amount, but I had been at the same weight for nearly five years and I just wanted to make sure this wasn't a complication I should e worried about.

Thank you for your response. I have one or more questions that I am not entiely sure I can ask, becaue I know seizures are different for everyone.
I had been wondering if if there are signs I should look for when dealing with my seizures. This is a fairly new condion for myself... But it does run in the family. I have yet to notice any signs beforehand. A lot of my symptoms come aftrrwards and can be quite frightening. I just want to understand when it woud be best to seek medical attention. I have the general shakes and absolute confusion after. I can't even remember my own name half the time.

Thank you very much for your assistance. This is all very new to me, even if it does run in the family. My aunt even went blind because of the pressureiy caused behind her eyea. I am used to being the one caring for everyone else, so this has been incredibly stressful. I am glad I found this site to ask questions. My primary care provider has such a short window to discuss everything, so this is helpong to fill the gaps. I love my doctor, but shor ti,e windows can be difficult.
