Does Klonopin Along With Abilify Help Cure Insomnia?
And it also says that magnesium and abilify can cause cardiac failure within less than one month of taking them together. Here is that article: http://www.ehealthme.com/drug-interaction/abilify/magnesium%20citrate/
So do you think that magnesium citrate is safe to take with abilify and klonopin and do you think it will help my insomnia, and if so, what dosage should I take? And do you think I will have convulsions or cardiac failure if I take them together? Or do you think that the three klonopins I take, if I took them all at night instead of throughout the day, that would be safe and make me sleep the whole night? Please tell me what you recommend for my insomnia because ambien and trazadone didn't work for me, and remeron and melatonin caused me burning skin, and I ordered L-theanine, but one doctor told me not to take that since it is uncertain whether it will interact with my medications or not. Please tell me what you think I should do.
Magnesium citrate is safe to use
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM
I can understand your concern. Magnesium citrate is a good supplement. The drug supplement is used for calming the individuals and this aid in sleep. The drug is thought to act by reducing the levels of stress hormone cortisol. Reduction of anxiety and stress result in sound sleep. It is not a drug that is related to Melatonin.
You can take the drug while on Klonopin and Abilify, no need to worry. There will be no increased risk of seizures. The drug should be used with caution in individuals with cardiac failure and fits.
If you start taking 3 mg of Klonopin in night then sleep will improve automatically. Use of either L theanine or Magnesium citrate would enhance the sleep action.
You can consider 5-10 mg of Olanzapine as option for insomnia other drugs and supplements fail. The drug will definitely help in sleep.
Thanks and Take care.
