Does Lasix Aggravate Arthritic Knee Pain?

Question: Can taking lasix exacerbate my arthritic knee pain?
Brief Answer:
Does not affect osteoarthritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Lasix can aggravate the pain due to gouty arthritis. It does not affect osteoarthritis. It also does not affect age related degenerative osteoarthritis. However it can cause muscle cramps and muscle pains. Do take adequate fluids while taking lasix on long term basis.
I hope this answers your query.
