Question: Does Lexepro harm your memory?
I am going to LVN school. The program is brutal. What can I eat and do to stay alert and healthy?
I am currently taking .5 of Klonopin from my doctor. Can this affect my memory?

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Klonopin can cause memory impairment in 5 to 10% of persons who use the medication. This that there is a chance, though very small, that is contributing to memory loss.

It may be best to speak to your doctor about this side effect. If there are no other drug options or the memory loss is severe or there are no other ways to counteract any problems that may be occurring (lists, alarms on phone/other devices etc.), then it may need to be changed.

It is not a known side effect of Lexapro though persons can react differently to medication.
