Question: I want to know if I can take pioglitazone HCL 30 MG WITH LISINOPRIL 20 MG ALSO WITH METFORMIN HCL 500 MG .. ALL TOGETHER OR SHOULD I TAKE SEPRERATELY CUZ I TOOK ALL TOGETHER I FELT SICK AND SHOULD I TAKE THEM AT NITE

Hello,
I read carefully your concern.
Metformine, when is prescribed only 1 tablet/day is recommended to be taken after the dinner.
Piogloglitasone should be taken once daily with or without food, usually recommend in the morning.
Both of them are antidiabetic drugs that lower the insuline resistance and decrease the liver production of the glucose.
They often do not cause hypoglycemia but the blood sugar should be monitored during the first month after starting the treatment.
As you may know metformin may cause nausea and vomiting during the first weeks of treatment.
Lisinopril is an antihypertensive drug that is suggested to be taken once daily too.
Usually in the morning.
There is no interaction between these drugs. Just try to take them at the right time.
