Question: When I quit lasartan will my hair grow back or am I stuck with this thin, broken hair?

Hair loss is a side effect of Losartan. Stopping the medication will resolve the problem.
However do not discontinue Losartan without discussing with your physician. Stopping Losartan can cause increase in blood pressure. So another antihypertensive need to be started while discontinuing Losartan for effective control of blood pressure.
Please follow up with your doctor to discuss regarding switching from Losartan to a different Antihypertensive.
