Brief Answer:
No significant interaction

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HCM. I understand your concern.

Well, no really significant interaction has been seen between this vegetal medication and raising the blood pressure. Although it may interact with some blood pressure-lowering agents in the metabolizing site in the liver, losartan is not one of them. Therefore, it is safe to use it.

However, I can see that you have complaints about your prostate. I would recommend you to consult your urologist, and a digital rectal exam (DRE) and an echo of the urinary tract should be performed. Although the disorders of the prostate are common in older ages and are mostly benign, proper measures should be undertaken to address your symptoms.

I hope my asnwer is helpful. I am happy to help, if you have follow-up questions.

Wish you a good health,
Dr. Meriton
