Does Mononessa Regulate Hormones?
Question: do mononessa regulate hormones?
Brief Answer:
Yes. It regulates as long as you are on it.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I understand you wish to if pill Mononessa regulates hormone.
Yes. This is a contraceptive pill containing estrogen and progesterone which regulated hormones and there by brings about periods in women whose cycles are irregular.
Let me tell you that this hormone is not for long term regulation or permanent regulation of periods . This can only help as long as you are on this pill. But you cannot get pregnant while on this pill.
Hence if you have frequent irregular periods, this pill is not answer. You should check if you have polycystic ovaries and also check if you are overweight as the treatment differs in such cases.

i was on depo in aug 2012 only took it once. & every since my periods been out of whack it just got back to the point where its on a pattern like 33/35 day cycle but my bleeding last 10 days. my periods use to be very regular 28 days & only last 3 days. anyways to get my period back. i figured my hormones are imbalanced but i dont want to take Mononessa because i want to concieve asap.
Brief Answer:
Transvaginal pelvic ultrasound scan required.
Detailed Answer:
You dont need Mononessa in that case as yu are trying to get pregnant.
SInce you say you bleed for 10 days each cycle, I suggest you get transvaginal pelvic ultrasound to detect uterine polyp or fibroid. These are causes for prolonged bleeding than hormonal imbalance.
Let me the ultrasound scan report so that I can advice further steps.
