Brief Answer:
It is better to use antibiotic eye ointment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I am Dr Dadapeer k an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history.

Mupirocin is an antibiotic and is used to treat skin infections.
But since you are using it over eyelid it is better to use eye ointments. If you are using mupirocin skin ointment then you should see that it does not enter eye. Alternatively I would suggest to use antibiotic eye ointments like Moxifloxacin eye ointment.

The swollen eye lid is usually because of inflammation of the glands of the eye lids like hordeolum and treatment is by use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Hence you need to use antibiotic eye ointment for treatment.
Along with this hot compression will provide symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
This requires antibiotic eye ointment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

I reviewed your history and the photo attached with the question.

This shows stye of the eye lid. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotic eye ointment and warm compression. This will not go on its own and I recommend use of antibiotic eye ointment.
