Does Phenergan Help Reduce Pain Cased By Fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The pain from this is very severe for you and so far nothing seems to be helping.. The first treatments include medications called SNRIs like cymbalta. If that does not work then we add or switch to lyrica or pregabalin. This is an antiseizure medication that may help reduce the hypersensitivity of the nerve endings. You have tried Meloxicam which is an anti-inflammatory but has very limited use in fibromyalgia. If the pain is severe some providers may start you on opiates like hydrocodone or oxycodone. I wojld recommend using that as a last resort.
For a real out of the box treatment medical cannabis has been helpful to reduce pain associated with fibromyalgia.
In summary treatment for fibromyalgia
1. SNRIs cymbalta
2. Lyrica
3. NSAIDS poor
4. Opiates
5. Medical marijuana

Return to using the naprosyn
Detailed Answer:
If the naprosyn worked better for your pain then return to using it. You are feeling poorly as fibromyalgia is a disease that has good and bad days. Today is a bad day. Accept it as part of your diagnosis. Trying to figure it out will not get you anywhere but anxious and confused.
