Does Plan B Cause Irregular Periods?

Question: does it normal that plan b one step mess up my cycle? so I had take plan b one step last month for 2 times because I just wanted to make sure. after that I got the period for 3 days (my period supposed to come on 22 but end up on 29) and till now my next cycle hasnt come yet. it has been for 30 days now so I was worried about it. Should I get pregnancy test or it just normal that my cycle mess up now? thank you

1) YES, Plan B or any other emergency pill will mess up regular cycle. Irregular or late period is main drawback due to hormonal imbalance and stress.

2) You got withdrawal bleeding due to effect of the pill and it is quite common & normal phenomena.

3) You MUST do one home pregnancy test to clear doubt about pregnancy. You may require cyclic progesterone pill to induce period in absence of pregnancy. Kindly, procure complete prescription from your doctor.

4) I suggest you to take regular contraceptive pill from D1 of cycle if you want to involve in unprotected sex frequently.
