Does Regestrone Intake During Pregnancy Cause Defects In The Child?

You can continue your pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us about it.
I can understand your concern, though.
The use of Registerone (norethindrone) is not recommended during gestation.
It may cause masulanizing (hair growth) effects on the female fetus if taken after 45 days onwards (during the maturation of fetal organ) but no effect seen in the male fetus.
Hence, in your case you can continue your pregnancy because the doses are not very high and you have taken it before 45 days.
To be safer side you should go for repeat test to rule out any congenital anomalies and continue your pregnancy under supervision of a physician.
Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.
Enjoy your safe and happy motherhood.
Good luck.

Second level ultrasound at 18-20 weeks.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Nice to hear from you again.
You are welcome here always.
Thank you to you for your gracious word.
I am always happy to assist you.
An anomaly scan (second level ultrasonography test) should be done around 18-20 weeks to rule out fetal anomalies.
In supervision because you are already 28yrs. Old so regular visits to gynecologist and investigation during pregnancy is really important.
Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.
Good luck.
Regards
