Question: Can you take Requip and Carbidopa/levo tabs at the same time? For husband who is 73.

Both the medicines act in almost similar fashion and serve the purpose of one another. Most often due to this fact you do not need to take them together as one can act for other.

However in when there are severe parkinsonian symptoms both can be taken together. However to minimize the side effects I will request your doctor to keep the dosage at lower side. This simple measure will help your husband to avoid side effects while having all possible benefits.
