Telmisartan (INN) /tɛlmɪˈsɑrtən/ is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (angiotensin receptor blocker, ARB) used in the management of hypertension. It is marketed under the trade name Micardis (by Boehringer Ingelheim),"Cresar" by (Cipla) among others.
