Does UTI Cause Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Groin?

Question: Can groin glands swell in a man with a UTI or is that associated with a more serious infection like the bladder?
Brief Answer:
yes they can swell in uti
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome again to HealthcareMagic.
Yes groin glands (lymph nodes) can get enlarged in case of a urinary tract infection. But that is rare. Its more commonly seen in STDs and late stages of cancer (which is uncommon at your age).
I would suggest that you get yourself tested for STDs and get clinically examined by a physician to help reach a diagnosis and subsequent management.
Hope i have been helpful.
