Question: Is the anti gout medicine uloric dangerous for having strokes and heart attacks
I take colcrys and alupurinol gout medicine and soon to change to colcrys and uloric Will TART CHERRY EXTRACT CAPSULES react with any of these medicines

Uloric or febuxostat has as a main common side effect changes in liver function, but there have been reports of both stroke and myocardial infarction in patients using this medication; these are quite rare, probably a lot less than 1% of cases. Again very very rare but not impossible and described. So if you have a strong personal cardiovascular history or several uncontrolled risk factors, I would shy away from it; otherwise, may consider careful initiation with your regular provider.
