Brief Answer:
Large polyp at opening of small to large intestine at cecum can cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi with regards.
Thanks for your query. Noted the history, albeit short and incomplete information.
Please attach the report of colonoscopy for me to know the exact location and other information. If possible post photos also which is given with report.
Large bowel is widest at cecum, say 6 to 9 cm in diameter. But the opening of small bowel in to large bowel at cecum is very small and can get blocked by oedema, polyp, mass or some other disease.
Cecile polyp means there is no stalk or a cord on which the usual polyp hangs on.
3 cm is a large enough size to cause partial blockage if it is at the junction of small intestine with large intestine at ''cecum'' as the area is known as).
* what is the report of histopathology? that is biopsy report. Please post this too.
* Was Contrast enhanced CT scan done?

Please give detailed feedback about your symptoms, report, advise etc.

The report is many pages long because they found many small polyps. The only comment regarding the cecal polyp is the statement and pictures I already submitted. I am trying to get a software release of the report. My big question is if you can tell how much of the colon is covered by the polyp?

Brief Answer:
As per the picture- 15 - 20 %. Most probably.

Detailed Answer:
The picture submitted is not clear, is in black and white hence difficult to find out the evidence you are asking for.
The first picture showing ileo-cecal valve does show a large size white area, most probably a polyp, covering about 15 to 20% of wall area. This is just a possibility as per the picture you have provided.
Pathology report says- tubulovillous adema (Adenoma?)

I hope this answers your query.
With Regards.

I do not see surgeon till mid febuary. You have estimated 15-20% of wall area. I am trying to get a download of the report to my computer. Any guess(guess). Pf how much of the colon is now filled with the polyp. Sixe in height of polyp vs. size /(diameter?) of colon where polyp is located?
