Brief Answer:
One report can not establish diabetes

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your question and understand your concerns.
First of all let me tell you how we diagnose diabetes.
FBS(Fasting) >7.0(126mg /dl)

PPBS (postmeal) >11.0(200mg/dl)

HBA1c>6.5 (it's a 3 monthly average blood sugar levels) which is very useful in diagnosis of diabetes.

So, my advice to you is -

1. Do all your blood levels including Fasting again and you will definitely get your answer. You can show me that report in follow up question and I will guide you further. Don't worry.

2. At present on only one report I will label you as a 'PRE-DIABETIC'.
That means in this type of patients I usually don't start any medicines but advice him strict diet control and regular exercise.

3. Do strict diet control for diabetes like avoid all forms of sugar, potatoes, rice, ice creams, breads etc.
Do regular brisk walking for 1 hour a day.
Avoid heavy meal at one time.

By following my guidelines you will definitely able to reduce your sugar levels and avoid medications in Long term.

So, even before the other blood reports come. Start following My advice and you will definitely get benefited.

I hope I have given you satisfactory answer. If you still have questions you are welcome.

Thank you.
