Does A Lump On The Tongue Pose A Serious Concern?
Question: I AVE A SMALL LUMP IN MY TONQUE. THERE IS NO PAIN. TWO PYSICIANS HAVE EXAMINED IT AND BELIEVE IT IS A DAMAGED TAST BUD. THE SECOND PHYSICIAN WANTS TO CUT IT OUT AND TELLLS ME THAT NO STITCHES WILL BE REQUIRED. AFTER A MONTH THE LUMP REMAINS, BUT HAS NOT GOTTEN BIGGER AND I STILL HAVE NO PAIN. WHY SHOULD I HAVE THE TASTE BUD REMOVED?
