Brief Answer:
Benign tumour produce specefic hormone

Detailed Answer:
Good day,

Adrenal gland has a portion called cortex and another portion called medulla.
Cortex produce hormones like cortisol, androgens and aldosterone.

Medulla produce adrenaline and nor adrenaline.
Usually a benign tumor produce a specific hormone. If the benign tumor is arising from cortisol producing cells, it will secrete cortisol only.

However, malignant tumors produce more than one hormone

So if the tumor is producing testosterone does it automatically produce cortisol or just testosterone?

Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:

Usually yes. But as i mentioned earlier, malignant tumours can produce both. However, an ACTH producing tumour of pituitary can stimulate adrenal gland and both cortisol and androgens can go high.

So a benign tumor that produced testosterone will also produce cortisol?
What does to much cortisol do to brain?

Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Benign tumour that produce testosterone usually do not produce cortisol.

Excess cortisol secretion cause cushing's syndrome. Excess cortisol can affect brain and cause emotional disturbances, Euphoria, Depression as well as psychosis. But these are rare. Excess cortisol can cause obesity, high blood pressure, high blood sugarss, weak bones and musceles, fractures of bones etc. These are more common than effects on brain.
