Does Alcohol Interact With Xprab Injection?
No additional dose is warranted
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
You should avoid alcohol in general, but taking alcohol doesn't warrant administration of another extra dose of rabies vaccination.
There is a risk of interaction and reaction, which you have overcome.
So, there is no need of that.
As such there is no test to confirm rabies infection in living people, and it is not required routinely if you are taking the vaccination regularly as advised by your doctor.
If you can know the status of the dog that had bitten you can give you your answer, if it is still alive chances of contracting rabies from it are almost nil.
This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.

Yes. I will stop drinking. It was a street dog and so not sure if it has Rabid disease. Any symptoms that I need to worry about or look for in the future ? Also, need advise on the diet if any to follow. I am a vegetarian.
Nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
You just need to complete the course of vaccination as has been advised by your doctor and there is nothing to worry as such.
You can take lots of fruits and green leafy vegetables to build up your immunity.
Don't search for any symptoms, else you would develop anxiety.
