Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me and interesting observation about globus pharyngeous.
It is common to have predominant symptoms on one side but generally it have varied presentation. I means to say that the G. P. can affect left side, right side, middle part in various combinations and over a period of time the symptoms dominance can shift from one area to another area.
It is also possible that due to varied presentation you are feeling more symptoms on the left side and over a period of time you may have very different presentation. It is also possible that the left side dominance of symptoms is due to treatment with medication and over a period of time you may have similar response on the left side.
In nutshell, there is nothing to worry and we need to observe for treatment response over the next couple of weeks. I also like to emphasize that please keep your treating doctor in loop before complete remission of symptoms.
I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
