Does An Abdominal-pelvic CT Scan Show The Bladder And Urethra?
Question: Does an abdominal-pelvic CT scan show the bladder and urethra? I had one done by a urologist over a month ago due to frequent urination issues. They did not do a cystoscopy. Am having occasional urethral discomfort.
Brief Answer:
Abdominal CT shows all the organs.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
Based on the facts that yo have posted you have been taking Trospim for Over Active Bladder and have done CT scan of the abdomen,
C T Scan of the abdomen detects even a minute abnormality in every organ in the abdomen ..
However Over Active Bladder diagnosis is based on symptoms like urgency and frequency for urination and will not reveal any positive finding in Bladder in C T Scan.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
