Does Anal Sex Cause Hemorrhoids?

Question: Can you get a hemorrhoid months after having anal sex just asking cause its been like 3 or 4 months since me and my bf had anal sex and just yesterday a hemorrhoid appeared but this appeared 3 or 4 months after we had anal sex
Brief Answer:
No, it can not .
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
TO recapitulate: Female/28 - anal sex 3-4 months back - hemorrhoid appeared yesterday - wants to know whether hemorrhoid can be due to anal sex.
No, since there is a gap of 3-4 months, hemorrhoid can not appear due to it.
If it had to occur, would have appeared very very early. Hemorrhoid is enlarged vein.
I hope this answers your query, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

Theres pain and its inflammed and its a small lump outside my anuse and i would only be 6 weeks and 3 days pregnante
Brief Answer:
Most probably anal fissure.
Detailed Answer:
Thank for your feedback.
There is pain - inflammation - small lump outside anus - 6+ weeks pregnancy.
This is more suggestive of an anal fissure than hemorrhoid.
Hemorrhoid is usually painless, soft to touch, may bleed or may not bleed.
Anal fissure is painful as you have explained.
I would advise you the following:
Sitz bath in a small tub with warm water to sooth the area.
Consult your Gynecologist as the medicines would be restricted and can be taken only after Gynecologist's go ahead.
Take the foods and beverages that does not constipation.
Most probably anal fissure.

Brief Answer:
IBS can be contributory factor
Detailed Answer:
IBS can be a contributory factor as I have mentioned in your another question.
The present problem is of anal fissure and is due to a small tear that occurs when the hard feces pass over the anal skin.
