Does Artery Aneurysm Cause Swelling Of Leg?

Detailed Answer:
Yes, an aneurysm can cause swelling of leg either by compression of veins or by arterial issues itself.
As far as treatment is concerned it is little grey zone. We treat aneurysms basically for risk of rupture and compression and related symptoms such as pain. Risk of rupture is high after 5cm and very low for aneurysms less than 3 cm. As his aneurysms are in between this measure, we need to consider all other factors such as location of aneurysm, are the symptoms related to it? etc and should give up smoking. After ruling out the possible contraindication he should also be started on beta blockers and echocardiography need to be reviewed.
