Does Bat Bite Need Immediate Medical Attention?

default
Posted on Wed, 26 Oct 2016
Question: I have a small two marks on my foot 1/4 inch apart. I felt a sharp object while walking near a cave in low desert brush. I am wondering if I need rabies shots for a possible bat bite?? I didn't look around at the time, then became more worried when I saw the the two tiny marks on my foot. I am concerned about rabies due to the severe consequences.
