Question: doctor i am 28 yrs old and my husband is 30 years old ,we recently tried unprotected intercourse , husband has risen blood sugar level in recent past, but he has his normal blood sugar level now .may i know that will sugar level will affect my conceiving chances.

Recent studies done in India have also claimed that diabetics have higher chances of damage to sperm DNA, resulting in problems in conceiving. However, this is true for those with diabetes since a long time. As you said your husband's blood sugar is under control, this should not apply for him. it is better to keep a frequent check on his diabetic status. All the best.
