Many thanks Dr. XXXXXXX I have been on the same pill AVA 30ED for quite a while(around 3 yrs now) and this is the first time it has happened. I stopped taking the pill for a few days about a month ago(end of Oct) as I was under antibiotics due to a flu infection because I knew their efficacy will be affected anyway and also somehow to give my body a bit of a rest from them. Soon after I finished the AB, took them again and also followed the 7 day rule right after the last AB tab. I was worried indeed as I've never had this strange discharge up until recently.Perhaps maybe due to the fact that I skipped the hormone free pills?... Thank you again for the prompt and thorough response. Best regards.
Brief Answer:
Bleeding due to skipping pills
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You have guessed right.
Bleeding is due to skipping of pills and not related to pregnancy.
Skipping of pills has made your cycles to start early and hence bleeding.
