1. Both are easy in expert hands. Only difference is cervical disc is located around more vital structures, if complication occurs may be serious.

2. Corpectomy is removal of vertebral body (Corpus=body), which may be partial or total. Usually reserved and It may be required in selected cases when decompression of cord cannot be achieved only by removing disc material.
