Brief Answer:
refers to how the image is processed not radiation

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The computed radiography refers to how the image is processed.

It still uses the conventional normally used imaging plates but the image is processed differently

Instead of a film which is then taken into a special room to be processed, it is done differently.

The imaging plate is stored in a cassette and placed under the body.

Information is basically passed through a scanner so that it can then be viewed on a computer screen.

It does not relate to how much radiation a person is exposed to, it refers to how the image is processed and developed

The level of radiation does not vary. How the image is processed does

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
