Brief Answer:
No, it is not caused by Diabetes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone carefully through your concern.
Diabetes does not cause constipation.
First you should exclude intestine problems and than try to modify the diet, by eating food reach in fibers, fruits and vegetables.
An underactive thyroid can cause constipation too. To exclude it you should check TSH level.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
