Brief Answer:
Can cause a growth retardation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The diastolic notch in bilateral uterine artery can happen due to pregnancy induced hypertension, Growth retardation or placental abruption. The presence of a notching in late in pregnancy is an indicator of increased uterine vascular resistance and impaired uterine circulation. Bilateral notching is more concerning. It is best to have an ultrasound scan every 2 weeks to monitor proper growth of the baby.
