Does Different Blood Group In Couple Cause Complications In Pregnancy?

no problem , just have to be careful for Rh isoimmunisation..explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
If you are O +ve and the girl is B -ve , then actually there is no restriction with regards to marrieage per se, but the problem occurs when you both shall plan your child . Then the child would be positive as well and this may initiate chances of Rh immuno-incomapatibility between mother and fetus.
But this can be prevented easily by offering ANTI -D antibodies in form of injection to Rh -ve mother at 28 weeks and then within 72 hrs of delivery to prevent isoimmunisation .
So, there is no problem in marrying a B-ve woman if you are O +ve, just taht during pregnancy anti-d injections have to be taken without fail after delivery or even in cases of any abortions which may occur in case.
regards
