Brief Answer:
benign tumor
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thank you for the query.
What kind of tests have you had? Was it CT, MRI or ERCP? Were there any samples for histopathology collected?
Such diagnosis (based on CT or MRI) means that you have benign lesion in the pancreatic duct. Unfortunatelly this type of lesions has 50% risk to become malignant. That is why you need to have your pancreas removed.
Please consult a surgeon as soon as possible.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
