Does Dizziness, Headaches And Cramps After Intercourse Indicate Pregnancy?

Question: My girlfriend and I are having a huge pregnancy scare. On Sunday Dec 14, we had sex the day after her last period (which began the 8th or 9th) had ended. I regularly use condoms as a method of contraception, but this time it broke without either of us noticing and I ejaculated inside of her. We immediately rushed to the store and she took Plan B One Step within a half hour of the accident. She was in pain for 3 days after taking it, and then on Friday Dec 19th she experienced some minor bleeding/spotting, much darker than a normal period. This lasted a couple of days. We were aware this could possibly be implantation, but were optimistic it was just shedding of the uterine lining after some research and went on with our lives. But then a week went by and since Friday Dec 26 she has been experiencing lots of bloating, nipple soreness, cramping, headaches and occasional dizziness, and it has been going on for 3 days. We took a first response pregnancy test yesterday which came out negative, but I'm thinking it was too soon because her period isn't due until January 5th. We looked up many of the symptoms I described and a lot of them are signs of early pregnancy, so we are very scared. Does it sound likely she is pregnant? Or is it possible that these symptoms could be attributed to Plan B and that we are just thinking too much?
Brief Answer:
No chance of pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I read your query and I understand your fears.
There is no chance of pregnancy as you had sex during safe period.
Moreover you took pills as extra precautions.
So dont worry about pregnancy. Its just not possible.
These symptoms she is experiencing are not specific to pregnancy alone. They are common during periods and hormonal variations.

Thank you! I really appreciate your quick response! She has a doctor's appointment tomorrow and plans to get an ultrasound as even an extra precaution to see what might be causing the symptoms or if anything is beginning to grow. This definitely eases my mind a bit to hear though and hopefully it will ease her's as well! I guess we were just very surprised that the pill could still possibly be affecting her 2 weeks later, so we just had to assume the worst.
Just for my own understanding, what/when exactly is the "safe period" and how long does it last? Is it at all common for those symptoms to show 2 weeks after the pill was taken and to last as long as they have (this is the 4th day in a row)? I'm only asking all these questions because she's been feeling really off lately and I love and worry about her, and because I might as well get my money's worth on this forum :)
