Detailed Answer:
Hi...
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.

Drinking hot water every half an hour is not going to raise the core temperature,if you are not hypothermic.

Similarly, drinking cold water every now and then is not going to decrease the core temperature ,if you are not hyperthermic (or febrile).

Thermoregulation is a state of equilibrium and the process of the body to maintain it's core internal temperature constant.
All thermoregulation mechanisms will help the body to retain homeostasis.
The internal body temperature is always maintained in a narrow window (Euthermic state) till the brain of the person is intact.
Brain hypothalamus is the part of brain that controls thermoregulation.

Hope that I have answered your query.

Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.
