Does Drinking Excessive Amounts Of Water Reduce The Effectiveness Of Anti-TB Medication?

Question: sir is taking too much water for anti tubercular lymphadentis treatment with four tablets of Akurit 3 will make them less effective. I have didn't took any breakfast or food after taking pills for nearly three hours.so is taking two glass of water with four tablets of Akurit 3 will make them ineffective

Sir is taking more water will make absorption of medicine less effective and dilute the acid required to break tablets as for some couple of days I have taken nearly two glass of water for consumption of Akurit 3 tablets for my daily dose. Iam worried will it effect my treatment.now iam taking water with glass of water only.i have not taken any food or breakfast for nearly two hours.so will it effect my treatment

No, taking too much water won't make it ineffective.

In fact, it should be taken with a glass of water and an hour prior to breakfast for best absorption.

Moreover, i personally don't recommend long food gaps following consumption of Akurit, as otherwise it can cause acidity.

sir thank you so much for your prompt response.so if pills taken with more( two glass) of water will not effect my daily dosage. as I was thinking that more water will make the pills quick transit from stomach hence will not allow complete absorption of pills

sir as my daily dosage is 4 tablets empty stomach
I used to take two tablets once followed by another two tablets all at the same time .....is my intake procedure for tablets is OK..I know this is a weird question but still what to know correct procedure for intake of medicine.

sir attaching my x-ray reports 1) the reticular opacities mentioned in one report is my first report during first week of my treatment 2) the Dr.jariwala laboratory is my second x ray report.please kindly explain both x-ray report

Many causes

Your report says Reticulo Nodular shadows, that can be due to many reasons like:
1. Tuberculosis
2. Scleroderma
3. Pulmonary fibrosis
4. Sarcoidosis.

You need further evaluation by a CECT Chest and blood test.
I can't comment further as your doctor has started you on anti tubercular treatment. He must have found something.

sir after taking medicine within one and half hour my urine is getting orange in colour ,is it a good sign or the medicine is not absorbed properly as I am not taking food for nearly two hours of taking medicine.
